Family Time

Yesterday we stopped at a roadside produce stand and bought some fresh peaches and tomatoes.  I decided to make a fruit salad to go along with our coffee and banana muffins this morning.  Fresh peaches, apples, and strawberries.  Yum yum!  I love summertime! BTW...the pretty zinnias are from our friends, the Lucius', garden.  I bought seeds but somehow never found the time to plant them this year.  :)

After breakfast we all got on the pallet for some tummy time.  I can't believe how good the boys have gotten at rolling over and moving themselves around. They are never in the same place when I come back! I don't know what I'm going to do when they really start crawling!

Ethan is practicing his swimming technique

Adam has gotten so good at pulling his knees in and pushing up with his arms that I'm keeping the video camera on the coffee table just waiting to catch his first time crawling.

The boys love love love their daddy!  He is so much fun to play with.  He just keeps them laughing.
Times like these are my favorite! When we are all together laughing and playing.  We are so blessed!

Sleeping in Their Own Beds!

Can I just say...Praise the Lord! I don't remember being this excited.  The boys are sleeping in their own beds.  We started putting rice cereal in their bottles before bed.  Adam sleeps all night now! Ethan still wakes up once or twice but usually only at 2 o'clock.

I'm really happy to be getting some use out of our baby monitor.  Also, Justin bought me a new bed yesterday!  I can't wait for it to come in.  We are finally upgrading to a queen.

Ethan Has Discovered His Tongue

A few days ago I started to notice that Ethan was playing with his tongue... a lot.  He sticks it out all the time! I'm sure this is just part of his development, and he's just figuring everything out. But I think it's hilarious.

Pool Fun

My 3 favorite boys and I took a trip to the pool this weekend.

Ethan really likes the water, but he's not too sure about his shades.

Adam really likes his shades.  I think they help his blue eyes a lot.

Next time we will have to bring some friends with us.

Happy First Father's Day

I want to take this opportunity to brag on my wonderful husband.  I've spent a lot of time telling you how much God has blessed me with my boys. Now I need to tell you that none of this would be possible without this fantastic man that He blessed me with first.  He has supported me through all of the ups and downs of the five years we spent trying for and waiting on our babies. He never complained about the money, or the time, or my sad moods.  He has always been an encouragement to me when I needed it most.
He is an amazing Daddy, like I knew he would be.  He loves these boys like crazy.  He plays with them any chance he gets, and he's never shyed away from a dirty diaper.

I would not have made it through the first few months had he not been willing to get up and feed a baby and change a diaper or just walk the floor when necessary. Seriously, there were some LONG nights!

I love this man more than I can say, and I'm so thankful that my sons have him as a Daddy and role model.

Have I mentioned that he's the best?

Need I say more?

Gulf Shores

We just took our first family vacation in Gulf Shores, AL. Justin's parents and sister met us there for a few days of fun in the sun... minus the sun.  Yep, it rained a lot! Thankfully, the sun came out our last day.  We were all excited to get the boys dressed up in their beach clothes and take them out to see the ocean and play in the sand.

CP and Adam are ready for a walk.

Love those sweet baby feet in the sand!

Aunt LuLu was so much fun.  She could really get the babies laughing!

The boys crashed under the umbrella after they played in the pool.

Despite the bad weather, we all had a great time making new memories with our sweet family.

4 Months Old

My plan was to take their 4 month pictures together on their tummies because they are rolling over now, and doing really well holding their heads up.  Here is what they thought of my "plan".

No worries.  I still got some really sweet pictures. I'm so thankful to have such happy babies!
