Azaleas and Scrambled Eggs

I LOVE spring.  After a long, COLD, dead winter, there is nothing that makes me happier than spending a warm day outside enjoying God's amazing creation and the beautiful flowers...

Until I got to spend my beautiful days with these precious boys. Life sure has changed since they came along.  I am thankful everyday for the joy they bring to my life.  We are having the best time playing outside.  Ethan goes to the door and stands on his tip toes to reach the knob whenever he hears me say "outside".

Adam was playing peek-a-boo.

Ethan was picking up flowers that has fallen off the bushes and putting them back on.

Of course we can't play outside without riding the roller coaster!

On another note:  I decided to let the boys try feeding themselves.  I'm not sure scrambled eggs was the best choice for their first attempt at using a spoon, but here are the results.

Ethan managed to get some egg in his mouth.  Not with the spoon, but he did eat something.

Adam, on the other hand, showed no sign that he even realized he was supposed to be eating.  He had a great time though.  :)

Botanic Gardens

The boys and I got to go to Memphis' Botanic Gardens with my friends, Amy Lauren and Karen and all of our kids. It was a beautiful day, and we all had a great time.

This is our sweet friend, Karen. She shared her pass with us, so it didn't cost an arm and a leg to get all these crazy kids into the park.

This is Karen's daughter, Emily, and Amy Lauren's oldest daughter, Emma-Kate. They ran all over the place with Emma-Kate's brother, Noble. We call them the "big kids" :)

We played in the "worm holes".

Emma-Kate played dress up with the scarecrows.

We found this fun hammock swing to take pictures.

Rosemary joined the party, and Ethan was loving on her.  She gave him "sugar" too.
 So sweet!
Rosemary is such a happy little girl.  She's the third child, so she gets lots of love and has lots of "adventures". She is a very good sport... and cuuuute!

Noble is the brother to all these sweet sisters.  I have a feeling he's gonna be a big brother to my boys too.  They loooove Noble! He's so funny, and he loves them too.

This Momma loves her babies!

Last but certainly not least... Precious Miss Violet!  This little doll is only 4 weeks old.  She slept the whole time.  Precious precious precious!

One of my favorite things about the Botanic Gardens is that it has so many little hidden areas.  You turn a corner and discover a whole new surprise.  We found this perfect shaded area with sand boxes and a slide.  Ethan loves to play in the sand.  Adam doesn't like to be dirty (shocking I know) so he played around the outside of the tires.

Have I mentioned that they love Noble?!

Sweet sisters!  Ethan wasn't allowed in the same tire as Rosemary because he really liked to throw the sand.

Once I showed Adam that this statue was a dog, he was very excited.  He loves dogs... stuffed, real, and apparently stone.

There was this cute little playhouse too.  Adam loved playing peek-a-boo with me.

The slide was lots of fun!

And look who's walking!

We sure had tons of fun! Everyone was exhausted when we left.
