Justin's 33rd Birthday

Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you.  Happy birthday dear Daddy.  Happy birthday to you!

Ok, so Justin loves french toast.  Since it was his birthday, I decided to make him this amazing french toast out of cinnamon bread. We were trying to get ready for church but wanted to celebrate when he got home from his mid shift, so we all went ahead and ate.  I waited until he got home to make his so it would be hot.  The only problem is that when you put candles into hot french toast... they melt!  Anyway, I tried, and it was still good once I cut the center out.  As usual, he was a good sport.

He finally got his espresso maker.

After church we went into Memphis for a Red Birds game. We sat in the outfield, so the boys could play.  It was so much fun! Leslie was here visiting. The weather was perfect, and it wasn't crowded.

Adam had fun giving Aunt Lulu high fives.

Snack cups are our new favorite things.  We don't leave home without them.

Adam made some new friends.

Sweet boys!

I love this picture.  It looks like they are riding a roller coaster.

All in all I think it was a pretty great day.

Trip's Birthday at Cedar Hill Farms

This weekend we went to our friend Trip's birthday party.  Thankfully Aunt Lulu was here visiting and got to go with us.  The party was at Cedar Hill Farms.  I was very excited to finally have a chance to see this place.  I've heard a lot of great things about it, and it definitely lived up to the hype.  We rode a train, fed all kinds of farm animals, went on a hay ride and rode ponies. That was all before the cake and ice cream!

This is the Birthday Boy.

Adam was not too sure about the pony ride.

I think Ethan liked the pony, but it was hard to tell because he was very intense.  We told him to hold on... and he did.

These are two super cute cowboys!

After we fed the animals, Ethan got a kiss from a billy goat!

Sweet Violet had fun too!

This picture makes me laugh.  I just had to include it. This is Adam's new fake cry.  He has really been making some funny faces lately.  Maybe he'll be an actor when he grows up.

Happy Birthday, Trip!!

Fun with Granny and PawPaw

We are so blessed to have Great-grandparents that are able to visit us.  Justin's Granny and Pawpaw travel all over the country(and Mexico) in their motor home.  They have a great time, and I think it keeps them young.  Anyway, they always stop to see us for a few days when they are in the area.  We love their visits and the boys LOVE them.

We all went to the park for a picnic.

A duck decided to come see what we were up to, and I'm afraid he got a little more than he bargained for.

We forgot to bring bread to feed the ducks/geese, but we fed them our leftovers from our picnic.  We didn't have very much but there were only a few ducks at the time.  Apparently they have some special quack that announces where the food is because all of a sudden there were a LOT of geese following us.  I'll admit I was getting a little nervous.

Adam and PawPaw are big buddies!

Ethan and his Daddy heading to the playground.

There is no slowing these two down!

Swings!!

Peek-A-Boo is fun anywhere :)

Granny found a seat in the shade.
We had so much fun during Granny and Pawpaw's visit.  I'm so thankful we get to make fun memories with our grandparents and that they have the chance to know our boys.
