More Fun with Lulu

Aunt Lulu came to visit us for a long weekend since she was off for the 4th of July.  We really enjoyed our time with her. Although we didn't do anything super exciting, we did make it to the park one hot afternoon.

We all get really excited when we hear airplanes!

After we played on the playground for a little while, we walked over to feed the ducks.  Be sure to notice our friend "Fluffy"  there are actually a couple of ducks with that little poof on their heads.  It makes us laugh.

Adam found Ethan's snack cup in my purse.  I love it when they are sweet to each other.

More airplanes :)

They throw the ducks a few crumbs but the boys eat most of the bread themselves.  I have to make sure not to give them any pieces with mold on it.

There were some cute little baby ducks! They were fast too!  They always beat the big ducks to the bread but it had to be small enough to fit in their little beaks.

 Family memories :)

Adam had a great time with his Aunt Lulu.  They made all kinds of funny faces.

The boys enjoyed a little wrestling on the couch.  This is usually not allowed because someone always falls/gets pushed off the couch. But boys will be  boys, and we had enough supervision.

I have no words to express my love for these precious boys! Everyday with them is a gift from God.

The 4th of July

Happy 4th!!  Justin had to work this 4th, so we didn't have big plans.  Thankfully Aunt LuLu was here visiting, and we had lots of "at home" fun.

OK... some of it wasn't that fun.

Adam was not a fan of Lulu's idea for him to sit on this window seal.

They both really like to sit on these window seals, so you can see her train of thought.  :)

This is my favorite picture of the day...and a complete accident. You gotta love a good camera.

You can't celebrate the 4th without fireworks! Just a side note... those are sparklers left over from our wedding almost eight years ago.  I was impressed that they still lit.

These are some really sweet pictures that Leslie took of Ethan playing.  He loves his hat!

My weak attempt to make a patriotic desert was vanilla pudding in red and blue bowls.  They liked it despite their faces in this picture.  These faces are because I stopped to take this picture instead of feeding them.  No Patience!
