My First Solo Trip with the Boys

Some say I was brave, I call it crazy, but I decided it was time for a visit to Greenville.  Justin had to work, so I loaded the boys up and ventured out on my own.  The trip there was terrible!  There was screaming and puking and almost running out of gas and more screaming.  Needless to say it was not fun. 

Oh, but it was so worth it when we got to spend precious time with family!

 

Adam and Ethan had so much fun playing with their Great Grandma Adams.  She really had them laughing!

Cousin Claire was very excited to get to hold the "piggies" as she calls them! She is going to be such a good big cousin and teach the boys all kinds of things.  We adults better get ready!

We also spent time loving on Great Grandma Peacock and Great Grandpa Peacock.  My boys are so blessed to have so many people that love them to pieces.

Our New Toys

Our living room is starting to look like a playground!  Our newest additions are these Johnny Jump-ups.  Justin loved his when he was little.

Adam is starting to get the hang of it.  He still doesn't jump. He's just happy to be up and moving. This boy is all go go go!

 Ethan is not so sure about his.  Maybe in a few weeks we will try again.

Adam also really likes to sit in his Bumbo chair. This is a picture of him watching the ball game with his dad.  He sat like this for 30 minutes!  I'm not kidding!  It's the most still that boy has been since he was born.

My First Mother's Day

I had a wonderful first mother's day!  I've been waiting and praying to be able to celebrate as a mom for so long that I really cherished every minute.

I am so blessed to be the mom of these two precious boys.  God truly lavished me with love when he gave me Adam and Ethan.

My sweet, superman, Adam.  God gave me you to keep me on my toes.  You have already taught me so much.  I have so much fun with you, and I'm really looking forward to all the fun to come. I love you!

You are my little snuggle bug, and you are a lot like me.  I'm so thankful to be your mom, and I promise to do the very best job I can.  I love you!

To make my first mother's day even better, I got to spend it with my amazing Mom!  I pray that I will be as wonderful a mom as she is.  I'm so thankful to have her as a role model.

Three Months Old

My how the time flies!  These precious little froggies are three months old!  They have really started to fill out and their personalities are shining through.  Adam isn't really showing his in this picture.  He is usually all smiles as long as he's not hungry, but I think he's trying to figure out what he's wearing at the moment. Maybe he's wondering why his crazy momma is acting like a clown trying to get them to smile.  :)

Papa came to visit

We were so excited when my dad surprised us with a visit in the middle of the week. Plus he came with lunch!  He has always known the way to my heart is food!

First Trip to the Park

We went on our first outing with our friends Emma-Kate, Noble, and our girlfriend, Rosemary!

But the big kids had fun.  Mommy really enjoyed getting to visit with her friend, Amy Lauren, and spending some time out of the house.  We look forward to many more fun days with our friends.

Our First Easter

Happy Easter, Everyone!

The Easter Bunny brought some goodies for the boys, but most of their loot came from Nonna, Great Grandma Adams, Great Aunts Ellen, Vicki and Robin.  I even managed to get their first easter eggs painted. Maybe by next year I will have their buckets painted too.
