This was my second mother's day to celebrate as the mommy to these two precious boys. Being a mom is the hardest job I have ever had, but it is also the best, most rewarding time of my life. I am so blessed!
Justin and I are so happy to have these little guys running around keeping us entertained and on our toes!
We have been trying to get together with some of our neighbors for a while. This Sunday was finally the day. The weather was perfect. We had a blast playing with the Meines. They have a son and twin daughters, so we have lots in common. The main difference is that their twins are old enough to babysit our twins. The boys love all three of the Meine kids, and Justin and I are pretty fond of them too.
This is Daisy, the Meine's dog. Adam and Ethan love her! Adam worked really hard to control his excitement and "be gentle".
The girls helped me try to take pictures of the boys together. It is ridiculously hard to get a picture of both babies in the same picture!
I think this is Ethan's new way to play Peek-A-Boo.
No family cook out is complete without a game of chase!
I'll say my second mother's day was a huge success! Wonderful weather, new friends, and two of the cutest, sweetest, funniest little fellas a mommy could ask for.
Thank you, Lord, for letting me be Adam and Ethan's mommy. I promise to do my very best to raise them according to your word; to love You and live lives that are honoring to You.
